Thanks, but no thanks

Cashier:

"Are you interested in purchasing an extended warranty for the bread machine? It's only $15 and will cover it for an additional 2 years if..."

Me, politely interrupting the spiel:

"Does it cover instances involving small children removing the spinny part and hiding it in places unknown?"

Cashier, slowly & looking slightly confused: "Noooo."

Me: "Well then it's really not that much help to me. Sorry."


Postscript: The new bread machine & its spinny part are now in a less child accessible location. And the old one was well over a decade old and beginning to malfunction, so we won't blame its replacement entirely on Daniel. He just really sped up the decision making process.

That's hilarious! Kind of how I've REALLY needed a new computer for a while now, but didn't want to spend the money on one. Then Jack got to the keys and decided to rip off the space bar and the "arrow" keys. Now I have an awesome new computer. :)
